Updates

Kita is a sweet puppy with some puppy energy but not over the top at all. She has a beautiful reddish tone to her fur that is hard to pick up in pictures. She has one full blue eye and one almost full blue eye.

She is learning the crate is not as bad as it first seemed. A few minutes of crying when first going in during the day or at night but then settles down. We are working on “settle” in her crate. She eats in her crate to make it a more enjoyable place. If you are home, she can only handle a short period in the crate but is great at snoozing on a dog bed or by your feet. She has been pretty good about not getting into things and not pottying inside, but I do keep her in certain areas.

She loves kids. She saw my 7 yo grandson and greeted him right away. She loves the 6 mo baby smells but loves her a bit too much for her liking. She is fine when in the high chair or up from the dogs.

Kita is learning how to walk on a leash and needs more practice. She is picking it up quickly. She loves snuffling around the yard sniffing things and chewing on Nyla bones. She is learning fetch. She has not lived with cats but she is young. She loves to play with other dogs and reads dog cues pretty well when they are done playing.

Kita seems to pick new things up quickly and enjoys interactions with her people. She does not have dog reactivity now and I would encourage lots or socialization activities to keep it that way. I think she will be fun to train and will make a great family dog.
