Kaia is a 3 year old great pyrenees. She is white with badger markings. I am rehoming her do to a few issues. One of my children has developed severe allergies from being around Kaia, even with allergy medicine. Kaia is food aggressive, counter surfs, sometimes will nip while playing with people. She can be aggressive towards other dogs and animals. She does well with animals and people with proper introductions and time. She lives with an 8 year old neutered large dog and they get along well, play well, but he is also not usually dominant. Kaia is a dominant dog. She is around cats and for the most part is fine with them.
The main reason for rehoming is my child not being able to shake the allergy to her since we have had her. Kaia is loving, snuggly and loves hanging with her people. She is crate trained, not allowed on furniture, is soooo playful, silly, and loves going for walks in new places and regular places. She does drool quite a bit on car rides. I believe she would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time, a big yard (preferably fenced), and no close neighbors. She does bark excessively at neighbors and people walking by, but usually stops and comes when I call her. She WOULD NOT DO WELL in a small yard with close neighbors, a duplex, or in an apartment. She is up to date with shots but does not have the bordatella vaccine. She will need to seek treatment for skin issues.
