Meet Jet!
Welcome to Wisconsin, Jet! She made the long trip from Texas right after Madison experienced the last big snow. She didn't really know how she felt about the wet ground, and luckily it melted right away. She's been with us for almost two weeks and has acclimated beautifully into our home and lifestyle.
Jet loves both canines and humans as she currently lives with two humans and two resident dogs who are Fetch rescue alumni. She enjoys playing with the dogs in the backyard for hours as well as taking a little nap in the sun. She adores playing with her ball and tends to chew the stuffing out of soft dog toys because she "must destroy the squeaky piece."
Her typical routine is to wake up in the crate around 6 am, go outside, eat, play, nap, repeat until 10 pm when she goes back in her crate. It's a great life! While she requires a bit of a nudge to get her in the crate, she doesn't fight it much. There will be a few minutes of whining before she settles in for the night. Jet tends to conk out on the sofa by 8 pm after a full day of activities such as joining one of her humans for virtual meetings :)
Jet is such a sweetheart, super cuddly, and makes some great sleepy noises. After two days with us, she earned the privilege of having the run of the house when were not home. A few fun facts about Jet:
- she is unbelievably photogenic and seems to smile in every photo
- if a car door is open in the garage, she will jump right in looking to go for a ride
- likes to know where her humans are at all times
- doesn't bark much
- sleeps like a champ
- walks well on a leash
- has the cutest little, red heart tattoo from being spayed
- loves the smell of bacon; who doesn't?!
Jet can't wait to meet you and be your constant companion. She'll be your life-long friend and greet you enthusiastically every days no matter what kind of day you had because she just wants to give you unconditional love. Isn't it time you took a chance on a southern gal?
