Jeannie is a 5-month-old lab mix and is such a fantastic pup. She is mostly potty trained, but still has the occasional accident if we are not paying attention to her signs. Jeannie will typically go to the door when she needs to go outside which is really helpful, unless we aren't in the same area of the house. We also let her out when she wakes up from a nap.
She is incredibly playful with our six-year-old lab mix rescue resident dog. They have multiple play sessions indoors and outdoors throughout the day. Jeannie walks well on a leash. She's a curious pup who is becoming more independent each day. When looking out the window, she likes to say an enthusiastic hello to anyone passing by on the sidewalk.
Jeannie is an incredibly social puppy. She was in the kitchen with us the entire day while making the Thanksgiving meal. Be warned she can be a counter surfer because that's where all the delicious food is :). We're working on "off" with her. She knows sit and is food motivated for training. Jeannie can be mouthy like most pups, but she never bites, it's more of an affectionate response on her part. Because of this, she should not be in a home with small children.
This pup is super snuggly when the house is settled and she wants to nap. And her fur is soft! She will crawl right up on my lap and sleep for an hour or so. Who doesn't want that kind of unconditional love?!
