PUPDATE 2

Jaxie is a good low-medium energy dog that loves to explore when outside, but take long naps when inside. He is incredibly friendly and loves attention anywhere and everywhere he can get it. Jaxie recently underwent dental work where he had a large number of teeth removed, so he may prefer canned food for a portion of his diet, but he has historically not been a terribly picky eater. He may not be the most playful pup, but he is certainly a snuggle bug and will try his best to be an oversized lap dog. Jaxie's excitement comes to show when he knows it's time for a walk, and he appreciates 30-60 minute adventures, but may start to crave a nap after anything longer.

PUPDATE 1

Jaxie typically sleeps next to me for most of the day as I work and goes for a walk 3-4 times a day. He is very low energy dog, but he can be needy at times.

Jaxie is incredibly friendly with all humans he meets.  He has not had exposure to children.

He is low energy and does not act rambunctious, but he does occasionally like to run when outside. On a leash, he is typically well behaved but will try to lead the way if not held tightly.

Jaxie has so far been friendly with other dogs and only showed mild interest. He likes to smell other dogs but usually doesn't interact with them beyond an initial introduction. Jaxie does not live with any cats in his foster home.

He typically will sleep in his bed or on the couch when left alone. He is good about knowing which spaces are allowed and which are not, he has never made an accident or chewed anything while left alone.

Jaxie was treated with a round of antibiotics for anaplasma but shows no active signs of infection. The Wisconsin vet performed a thorough dental and he’s recovering well from several teeth removals.

Jaxie is incredibly friendly and loves to be pet. He is very low energy and doesn't show much interest in toys or rambunctious play, but he enjoys frequent walks outside and exploring.
