Ike is a 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog. He was rescued to Wisconsin from TX. He lived there with his owner and his brother Mike till he was 2 when the owner decided he couldn't deal with them anymore and put them in the local shelter. This is likely the root of his separation anxiety. He was split from his owner and his brother Mike. Mike was adopted in TX and then Ike was rescued to WI and ended up in the Monroe, WI shelter where I found him last year. Ike is a really sweet, kind, smart, and funny dog. He walks very well off leash and there are several places nearby where we do that daily. He likes everyone he's met and loves playing with other dogs.
Due to health problems, I am starting to have a hard time caring for him. I think he would be best in a home with someone who works from home or is retired due to separation anxiety. Or perhaps also with another dog.
