Our sweet Ginger is is brave, curious, and resilient. She settled in very quickly at her Texas foster home (after being a stray and then in the shelter), and made herself at home here in Wisconsin with us in no time.

Ginger enjoys snuggling with the two (old lady) resident dogs, but gets the message quickly that they aren’t interested in puppy play. She is very curious about the cat, but keeps her distance (which is very smart given our cat’s disposition). She is the easiest puppy I’ve had. She is 95% potty trained already, and very eager to please her people. This girl is SMART and treat motivated - she learned “sit” in one day.

Ginger sleeps in her crate overnight. She is very noisy about her desire to be with you instead at first, but eventually settles down and sleeps all night. She LOVES her people and would rather not be left alone, and she will tell you all about it.

Ginger is very patient and happily models the coats and outfits our daughter puts her in. She loves being held like a baby.

Ginger attended her first hockey game to cheer on her foster human brother. She loved all the attention and being wrapped in a blanket.

We trimmed and filed her toenails, and she fell asleep. Such a good girl.

Her brown and tan coat is so beautiful. The expressive tan eyebrows (swoon). The long graceful snout with plenty of room for kisses. Truth is we’d keep her in a second if our home wasn’t already full.
