Ghost was adopted on March 27!

Ghost wakes us up every morning and immediately cries at the door to let us know he needs to potty. He then eats breakfast, plays with toys, and loves to nap. Ghost has also been loving the warmer weather and getting to play and walk outside. He eats dinner, and then snuggles up with his foster parents before going to sleep in his crate, or his bed next to the crate.

He is an absolute sweetheart. Ghost gently goes up to new people and sits down in front of them waiting for pets. Once he warms up to new people, he follows them around and lays by their feet. He also loves giving smooches and begging for belly rubs.

Ghost loves to play with children. He’s had lots of experience with children in the foster home and loved to share his toys with them. He cuddled up and also napped with the kids he got to play with.

Ghost is extremely calm and gentle. He gets excited before walks, and while playing with toys but it always ends in a long nap. He also is sleeping through the night and likes to sleep in even more after he goes potty in the morning. We went on walks every day and by the time we got home he would be ready to lay down for a bit. He is doing well walking on the leash with a harness!

He met a couple dogs while living with us, and loved to play with them. Ghost was able to keep up with the bigger dogs, and loved to share his toys with them. He is nervous for the initial meet, but after a few seconds he is ready to play and run with them. Ghost does not have a cat in his foster home.

Ghost is doing better with crate training. When we are home he loves to follow us everywhere we go, so he is working on being alone. We practiced many times, and he is definitely improving. He gets sad and cries when the crate door is shut, but he has been going in the crate on his own more often.

Ghost is such a smart little man, and we love fostering him. He knows a few commands, cries at the door when he needs to potty, and picked up on leash training very fast. He is so gentle to everyone he meets and loves to follow us everywhere we go. He is very independent and loves to play with his toys while we are around the house. He loves to nap, snuggle, give smooches, and always is down for some belly rubs. Ghost also has the softest fur. Anyone would be SO lucky to have Ghost as a pet!
