Fiesta sealed the deal with his new family on October 15, 2020!

Say hello to Fiesta Potato! Named in celebration of the now long-lost Taco Bell item - the fiesta potatoes. This little boy is a very gentle little guy who just wants to snuggle up with his humans under a blanket to keep warm. He starts his day with a 15-minute walk then has breakfast and naptime in his crate while I'm working. At lunchtime we'll have a potty break and playtime in the yard. Then he'll snooze in his crate again the rest of the afternoon while I'm working. In the evening, we get in another walk, playtime in the yard, and then couch snuggles. Bedtime means dinner - which Potato gets VERY excited about - and then he sleeps the night in his crate where he burrows under a mound of blankets in his crate. He loves the mound of blankets in his crate so much, he'll sometimes go hang out in there just for enjoyment and because it's cozy. :)

Fiesta Potato is very social and loves to meet new people. He will sometimes bark at them when they're walking by the house, but he is very calm and gentle when new people come inside or come to pet him. He really just wants lots of snuggles and attention. Fiesta Potato has not met children while with me so I can't make any sound judgements, but I suspect he would do well since he's usually quite gentle.

Fiesta Potato has a good medium energy level as he has plenty of energy for long walks or play time, but is also happy to sit around a snuggle for a while. He hasn't really played with toys much from what I've seen but will play with other dogs and has a blast exploring the yard for hours.

Fiesta Potato currently lives with four other dogs and has met others and has done extremely well with all types of dogs. He does not appear to be dominant and generally ignores other dogs unless they try to play with him. Potato also currently lives with two cats and does okay - he generally ignores them but will get excited and try to play and chase them sometimes.

Fiesta Potato is not 100% potty trained so I usually crate him when I leave the house. He does not have accidents once he gets familiar enough with a place to not mark. He does not yet know how to ask to go outside when he needs to potty.

Fiesta Potato is an extremely loving and gentle boy who is looking for a family who will spoil him with tasty food and warm snuggles!
