Updates

Falcor was adopted on February 23rd!

Falcor is a very happy and affectionate boy who loves to play! He is shy at first but quickly warms up to new humans - if that human has a dog with them though, he forgets to be shy since all he can think about is dog play buddies. He gets along great with his two canine foster siblings, and they've helped to develop his confidence. Falcor loves to play and constantly initiates playtime with his siblings with play bows, pawing, picking up a toy, or rolling over on his back. He's very submissive and likes to be chased. He loves to wrestle and play tug with his dog friends. Falcor would probably do best in a home with another dog or in a family that can arrange frequent dog park outings or playdates with other dogs.

He's a giant goofball who doesn't know his own size - he thinks he's a lap dog and wants to give hugs and kisses. Fortunately, he's a VERY gentle giant! Falcor plays in the style of a young puppy - flopping around and pouncing on his toys - which is funny to watch since he's so big! When Falcor gets tired from playtime, he loves to curl up and snuggle with his humans (or dogs). Falcor likes to be your shadow - following you around room to room and keeping you company. One of his foster parents works from home, and Falcor will happily chew on a toy while she's working, sneaking in a few kisses or snuggles when he can. Falcor responds well to praise as well as treats. He's working on his basic commands and seems eager to please, so we think structured training time would help to further develop his confidence with his new family.

Falcor met a cat once during his time with his foster family. He was super nervous at first, but after a while got curious and wanted to play with the cat. Falcor has had one playdate with 3 kids. He was nervous at first but happy to accept treats and pets. He gently gave kisses to the kids and stayed on his best behavior.

Falcor is so excited to meet you and become a part of your NeverEnding Story!
