Meet Emmett!
Emmett is a one-year-old Jack Russell mix with a big personality packed into his 20 pound frame! This sweet boy is equal parts snuggly companion and curious explorer. He loves nothing more than curling up in cozy blankets after a good walk or play session.
Emmett is full of puppy energy and would love an active family ready to take him on daily adventures—he’s happiest when he can stretch his legs on long walks (a few miles a day is ideal for this energetic guy!).
Like many young pups, Emmett is still learning his manners. He can be a little mouthy when he wants attention and has a habit of weaving between your feet—but he’s smart, eager to please, and learning quickly with consistent guidance.
Emmett will do well as an only dog OR have a family that has experience with slow introductions and some reactivity.
Emmett has been making great progress each week as he learns skills that help him manage his reactivity, including loose-leash walking, recall, “place,” and disengagement. He’s very food-motivated, so using his kibble works perfectly for training sessions. Emmett is a smart cookie who enjoys learning and thrives when given the chance to practice new skills.
