Updates
Edgar was officially adopted on August 5, 2020!
Edgar is happy-go-lucky and energetic. We have a 9 and 10 year old kids and he did well with both. We fostered Edgar and his sister at the same time, he initially played rougher than what she liked, but she was bigger and he adjusted his play level.
He starts his day at 5:45 am outside for a quick bathroom. Then at 6:00 am it’s breakfast time followed by outside time for 20 minute walk or 10 minute run. The morning is alternating; outside, inside non-crated, inside crated. Lunch is around 11:30 am and then outside walk and play in back yard with sibling pup and human kids. At 5:30 pm it’s dinner time followed by multiple outside and inside time. Around 8:30/9:00 pm is the last outside time before bedtime.
Edgar really enjoys people. Our kids are 9 and 10 years old and they fed him, walked him some, sat with him while he chewed sticks, tossed balls etc. He does well around kids.
Edgar is medium to high energy and will need longer walks or shorter runs. He pulls on the leash and will need continued leash training.
He does well in the crate, including overnight. He is a sweet pup and would very much like an energetic adult or kids to play with.
Cats are unknown at this time but Fetch can cat test Edgar. He has meet two different calm, adult dogs and did well. He has barked at dogs when they are farther away at times.
Like all puppies, Edgar will need basic training. If you’re looking for a puppy that can grow with your family, Edgar is your pup!
