Dori is a medium-energy, medium-sized terrier mix looking for a home with people she can cuddle with and maybe even dogs she can play with too! Her behavior in the house is extra polite, on leash she’s an angel. She has been around kids as young as 7 with no problems.
She has some prey drive and has caught a few ground squirrels at our rural property (a terrier through and through!). She hasn’t had any exposure to cats. She is alert to other animals and dogs while on leash, but she does not react negatively.
She is currently living with our dog and Daisy, another dog up for adoption. They play together very well.
Dori’s exercise requirements are medium. She loves to run with us on our walks in the country but is satisfied with a long walk on leash in the city. She interacts very well with dogs she meets in the city and looks forward to a time when she can play with them off leash.
Dori is very comfortable in her crate, however we also let her roam free. We have had no issues with counter surfing, chewing or “accidents.”
Dori is a super sweet dog that will bless any home environment.
