Pupdate 2:

Donna has arrived in Wisconsin and is a simply delightful pup! She is bigger than we first thought. At 12 weeks she is almost 10 pounds. She will be in the 40 pound range as an adult (per dog growth charts). She will be a nice medium size dog. She is very social with people and kids, once she gets to know you. It takes her a couple minutes to warm up but then she is all fun and games. The pups do well with my 6 yo grandson and other children that have come over to play. She loves a good belly rub and love and attention. She sleeps through the night and is starting to signal she needs to go out though that is not consistent yet. She needs training in all things puppy but that makes her such fun to help her develop into a great dog. She loves my other dogs, a 26 pound chi-terrier mix and my 55 pound Golden. She holds her own but then gives respect when needed. We love this litter and their personalities SO MUCH, we decided to adopt one. It is wonderful that we fostered such wonderfully social, silly, happy puppies. She’s a doll! Don’t miss your chance!!

Pupdate 1:

Meet Donna!  A small breed mix, born in a foster home in Louisiana on May 6, 2022.  She and her siblings have been raised together in a loving home with cats, dogs and children so they have been well socialized.  At 8 weeks, she was 6 pounds. She will be a small adult. Their mom is pictured with them.  The pups are all a little fuzzy with a fuzzy curled tail.

Donna is a medium to high energy pup, according to the southern foster. She can be a little bit of a daredevil!  She will need time, effort and patience to train and help her develop into her best self with good dog manners.  She is working on potty training and crate training.  We will be working on adjusting to a harness preparing for a leash. She is a 10 week old puppy who will need to work on all skills and have someone with a flexible schedule and can be home every few hours to take her outside and to interact with her.

We will be taking applications early for these puppies since they have been in foster care since birth.  She is wrapping up some puppy vetting on 7/29.  She will be 12 weeks old at that point. Donna will be ready to leave her littermates and join her forever family for new adventures and cuddles the first week of August.
