Meet Dixie, so far she hasn’t met a person or dog she didn’t fall in love with right away.
Dixie is a sweet, 8 month old, hound mix, weighing in at forty one pounds.
Her favorite things are belly rubs, petting her soft coat , velvety ears and playing chase in the fenced yard with her newest pal Shylo.
Dixie loves snacks and food time which helps with learning new basic everyday lessons, like walking on a leash, waiting nicely at the door and practicing meeting new people and dogs politely.
Dixie has recently mastered going up and down stairs . She is working on car rides , garage doors and everything new in and around the house.
She likes a good game of fetch with soft toys and enjoys chews with supervision.
Dixie is tolerant of her feet being touched and nail trimming has had baths with peanut butter snacks and even a trip to the veterinary office.
She has not met cats or any children.
She sleeps quietly in her crate at night and rest / nap time during the day.
