Hi everybody! I’m Dessie. I may be little, but I’m jam packed with a great personality. I’m a little shy, but super sweet and friendly. Even though I take some time to warm up to new people, I enjoy meeting them. I’m a low/medium energy girl who loves hanging out with my people. I enjoy going on walks, playing with toys, and playing with my foster sister. I would love a home that has another dog to help me blossom and grow my confidence level. I have yet to meet a toy or treat I don’t like. I take treats gently and tolerate handling well. Sometimes I like to hide under things like tables, beds, and the backseat floor of the car for comfort. I love to walk, lay, and scare small critters out of the tall grass/plants at my foster home. I’m 95% potty trained and 100% crate trained.
I recently graduated from doggie elementary school and I’m learning how to be the best girl I can be. I sit and wait before I get the “OK” to eat my food. I go into my crate on command and enjoy listening to my white noise machine while my foster mom is at work during the day. I’m also working really hard on walking nicely on a leash, but there’s so many good sniffs and animals to chase! I don’t discriminate, whether it’s as small as a grasshopper or as big as a turkey.
