April 16th marks Desmond’s adoption day!
Desmond is a typical puppy with a great personality. He has been with us for one week and has been amazing with all dogs and people. Desmond is very confident and happy. He is learning to like his crate but does cry when crated for a while. He eventually settles down. He much rather be by his people!
He loves our resident dogs, even our grumpy older dog who gets annoyed with him on occasion. Desmond takes his cues well.
Desmond is not potty trained, but that is expected for his age. We are working on routine and reward right now. He does potty outside but still has quite a few accidents inside.
He loves to chew on puppy toys and will pick those over non toys!
Desmond is extremely food motivated which is helpful for training! He looks at his bowl when he's finished eating and whines for more.
