Meet Debra from Texas who answers to the name Lucy. She is the sweetest tiniest bull terrier you ever did see. All her favorite things involve snuggles and snacks (i.e., snuffle mat, treat dispensing ball, frozen Kongs, and chasing kibble around the house on yucky weather days).
When Lucy is happy, her little tail goes into turbo speed, and when she is really really happy, she spins in excited circles. She is eager to please, easy to re-direct, and quick to learn. She knows how to “sit” and is doing great with “place,” “break”, and “stay.” She is fine to roam freely during the day and hasn’t had a single potty accident while her foster parents were at work. Her foster in Texas said she is dog selective, and she certainly wasn’t thrilled about having another dog in the house when she arrived at her foster home in Wisconsin, but she adjusted to having a foster brother after a couple weeks.
Lucy is extremely loving and the perfect balance between energy and chill. She gets 1-2 walks a day and 10-20 minutes of high energy play chasing a critter on a flirt pole. At the end of the day, all she wants to do is lie belly-side up in your arms and have you cradle her like a baby while she naps. She goes to bed in her crate around 9:30 PM without protest and sleeps quietly throughout the night. Given the chance, she would probably also sleep well in a bed next to her humans.
