Daisy found her home 9/10/21!

Once Daisy wakes from sleep, she is let out right away to potty in the fenced-in yard. Sometimes she will sleep in bed with me, if not there, then her crate. She then plays with her fellow dog mates outside. Daisy could play non-stop if I let her. Sometimes she will become too mouthy and become too much for the other dogs. They let her know and she gets the hint and sometimes I have to separate her until she calms down a bit. Daisy eats twice a day. Before and then after work. She is let out to the yard to go to the bathroom after her meals and many times in between. Play always happens when out there. She fetches but doesn't like to drop the ball...we're working on "drop it" and "leave it."

She does well with newcomers. Sometimes she'll bark at people but stops shortly after. Daisy doesn't mind passing people on walks, will let them pet her. Daisy has not met kids in her foster home.

Daisy needs two 30 minute walks a day and sufficient run around/play time. She has that puppy energy to burn!

She has met quite a few dogs while being here and she did great with every single one of them. She love love loves to play with her friends! As said above, sometimes she needs to be separated for a break because she can just keep playing.

Daisy checks out my resident cats but not for long. She is also gentle towards them. I would say she can be around them!

I give her a Kong toy with treats or some safe chews, to occupy her in the crate. She has chewed up a corner of her bed. She seems to be getting better at it and leaving it be. She is crated when we're gone.

The vet noted that Daisy appears to be able to see out of her left eye but not her right eye. This does not appear to affect Daisy and she can just be monitored.

Daisy is so much fun, her upbeat playfulness, accompanied with her soft cuddly side, makes for a wonderful companion! I love her!
