Little Daisy Mae was officially adopted on December 22, 2020!
Daisy Mae starts her day by eating her breakfast then having some fun play sessions with my resident dogs or tossing around her toys. I have been working 50/50 from home, so on the days I am home, she gets to chill out and play during the day until she gets put up for a nap around lunch time. In the evening it is full of play time, cuddles, and dinner.
Daisy Mae is a people lover! She loves meeting people and is a very happy pup. Daisy has not met children.
Her energy level would be mostly medium, with random spurts of high energy. She is pretty typical puppy in her events of play time then naps. One very entertaining thing is she will play and toss around her toys for herself, she has a pretty independent personality except for when she needs to snuggle. Leash walking is a work in progress as she can be hesitant in new situations.
Daisy Mae hit it off right away with my resident dogs. She plays well with my boxer mix and for the most part respects the space for my corgi. She really looks to my boxer for guidance and comfort in some situations.
She has not been aggressive with my cats, but she will stare at them in an oddly obsessive way. She will chase the cats when she gets the chance, so would likely do best in a home without cats.
Daisy Mae stays in her kennel when I am out of the house. She is great in her kennel! Sometimes she will whine a tiny bit but settles in very quickly. On days that I have to go into the office, she has spent up to 9 hours in a kennel and keeps it clean.
Daisy Mae is a quick learner, she is working on sit, lay down, and not jumping when excited. She is not a fan of the cold but LOVES to play in the snow. Miss Daisy Mae is a sweetheart and will steal your heart!
