LOVE him! Please see Cosmo's video, he's simply adorable. Someone is going to absolutely adore this boy. He's a cuddle-bunch and lover, small enough yet to be armful size. Gives sweet kisses when being held. Video is from September; Cosmo being picked up and cuddled by a volunteer, after she tries to get him to walk on leash (he does need leash training, but he's just a pup.) When she picks him up, you can see how small he is, and what a sweetie.

Are you ready for a head-on collision with your heart? Then check out Cosmo! This boy has such a distinctive personality at times shy, nervous, and uncertain and at other times playful, rambunctious, and sweet.

While not as high energy in terms of exercise, he does like a lot of mental stimulation. He loves his toys and does well entertaining himself, however he gets bored quickly and likes to go to his toy box and rotate between them. When not chomping on toys, he does love being outside and taking a casual sniff-full walk around the neighborhood. He will definitely benefit from training, learning tricks, and having jobs to occupy that busy brain. Good thing is he is treat motivated and picks up on tricks very quickly.

Cosmo is crate trained and has done fine being in his crate at nighttime or during the work day. He has also done fine free roaming during those times and has not shown any signs of separation anxiety or destructive behaviors. That said, he is still learning what is and isn't a toy and will snag items off tables and counters, but he gives up items he shouldn't have without any fuss.

He is still learning how to ask to go outside to go potty. He's done well on a regular schedule and goes 8-10 hours without problems, but sometimes when he has to go he really has to go and he has had a few accidents inside. However, he is picking up well on his potty command when outside.

Cosmo wants to play with every dog he meets, and communicates his desires very clearly and determinedly. He has been extremely charming with other dogs trying to get them to engage with him but sometimes doesn't quite get the clue when to quit. Our cat has been the apple of his eye and, although she wants nothing to do with him, he nonetheless continues his efforts to get her to play. While he has not been aggressive and has minded boundaries with the cat, his excitement and interest have meant we supervise them together. Cosmo still doesn't really get how to play with people but is starting to understand that we can be fun when we’re not giving snuggles or belly rubs.

Cosmo has so much potential, and this special boy could do well in so many different situations. Wherever his forever home is and whoever it's with, someone is going to fall head over heals for this Paulie Bleeker of a dog
