Cookie loves meeting new dogs. After a little sniffing, she'll jump right in as a member of the pack!

Cookie is no longer fearful of her leash and is also happy to have her harness taken on and off! This sweet girl is really special.
PUPDATE 1
Cookie is a very chill, relaxed and independent lady. A typical day for Cookie starts with a trip to the bathroom outside and a short walk around the block. We come back for breakfast and she typically spends the day lounging on the couch or cuddled up next to me on the bed. We go for a longer walk in the afternoon where she loves to sniff anything she can!
Cookie will take a few days to warm up to you but once she does, she's the most lovable and cuddly dog on the planet. She loves sitting next to you on the couch to get pets and lie right next to you in bed for belly rubs. Outside the home she is cautious of other people but doesn't let it stop her from getting her steps in!
She has not been exposed to children or cats.
Cookie loves a good long walk in the afternoon. She does not pull on the leash and loves sniffing spaces where other dogs have been! She gets excited at the sight of her leash but is somewhat fearful when you go to attach it to her harness. This is easily surmounted, however, by placing a few treats on the ground to distract her. Despite her small size she's a quick walker and does well on a long leash, especially as she gets to know and love you!
She has had little exposure to other dogs while I have fostered her but has come from homes with dogs where there have been no issues. Outside the home, she is interested to meet other dogs but keeps a healthy distance, most time ignoring them completely.
Cookie does well when left alone and is always super excited when you return!
Cookie may be shy when you meet her, but she has a big heart and a lot of love to give in her old age! She's the best cuddle buddy and the sweetest little lady.
