Hi, my name is Coach Beard! I’m about 4 months old, and 28 pounds of pure joy. I’ve been with my fosters for about two months, and I’m already best friends with my fur-siblings (whether they want to be friends with me or not…) and my 1-year old human brother!!! I LOVE playing tug-of-war and hide-and-seek with my foster family.
My day typically starts around 6am when I hear my human brother and fur siblings wake up. I wait patiently in my crate (where I sleep) for the sleepy humans to get out of bed and let me out. Once we’re all up, the humans take me downstairs (going down steps scared me in the beginning but now I’m a pro!) and go into the yard to take care of my business. I eat, drink, play, and refuse to sit still while the humans get ready. Then I go back into my crate for some peace and quiet while they work. I’m still working on my potty training, and right now, I usually need to be let me out once during the day to go to the bathroom. But I’m getting better at letting my foster family know when I need to go outside and should soon be able to stay in my crate all day without a break!
Once the humans get home in the evening, I shower them with affection and attention. I love playing in the yard, enjoy a good dinner, and am ready for a nice walk around the neighborhood. I wasn’t a fan of my harness or leash in the beginning, but now I have no issues walking like a perfect gentleman!
I get the zoomies quite often but give me a toy to chew or a puzzle and I’ll entertain myself by your side! I’m only 4 months old but have been through a lot already – I was the underweight runt of the litter and had a couple parasites that made life tough. But Fetch and my foster family helped me get past all that and it never stopped me anyway!
Overall, I’m an awesome pup who just wants to play, explore new things, love my family, and be loved. I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can play, cuddle, and be adored.
