Updates
Bunni is such a sweet girl! She eats her meals and potties frequently! She has learned to give a little whine at the sliding glass back door when she needs to go out, but if not heard right away, uses the pee pad. She's not a fan of the cold weather but on the warmer days, Bunni loves to romp around in the grass! She sleeps in her crate in the living area at night and does great. She has been sleeping through the night the last few days, otherwise wakes up once early in the morning to potty. No accidents in the crate. No barking or stress in the crate. Does well when left to roam around during the day. She's a very shy girl but an absolute lover when she comes out of her shell!
Bunni is very shy! When introduced to new people she chooses to go to her crate until she's comfortable to come out. She loves to cuddle on a soft blanket and can't resist a little treat.
Bunni has interacted with kids 7+ and has done well. Not mouthy at all. My kids are great with foster dogs and understand doggy body language - so when she retreats they don't follow her. She would do best with calm/ older kids. Chasing, shouting or rigorous play would likely stress her out.
Bunni does not yet understand the leash! But she is learning. She had never seen snow before and doesn't understand sidewalks, but loves a patch of grass! A fenced backyard would be her oasis! Bunni is a the most chill puppy we've ever had. Loves to cuddle and snooze. Has small bursts of energy that are very short lived!
Bunni has been introduced to dogs outside of the home and is very submissive. Very much like with people visitors, Bunni will start out by laying in her crate until she's decided she's ready to come out. Once comfortable, she is very excited to play!
We have two resident cats who are familiar with dogs and Bunni has barely even noticed their existence! Not prey driven. Would do great in a home with cats.
Bunni has a dedicated puppy-proof area where she does great when left alone! No barking or trying to escape. She plays with her toys and naps the day away.
We've affectionately nick-named Bunni, Piglet as she reminds us very much of the Pooh Bear character! A bit shy and nervous, but the sweetest puppy you'll ever meet! And those goofy ears! How can you resist!
