QUICK FACTS: ✔️ Good with other dogs! ✔️ Good with older kids (over 12)! ✔️ Crate trained! ✔️ Good for beginner dog owner! 🥰Snuggle Pup 🧸Loves to play ✔️ Good in the car!

✅ Sweet, laidback pup but loves to play outside with her sister and puppies her age.
✅ She and her sister were found abandoned on a rural county road, scared, thin, and hungry. They weighed less than 15 lbs. each at 3 months when found; now at a healthy weight, they’re lanky with long legs.
✅ Sister is Bella!

Bria is a great puppy. She's the Pyrfect mix of playful, snuggly, and calm. She loves to play with other dogs and toys and is respectful of older dogs who do not want to play with her. She doesn't need or want to play for hours on end and would happily stop for endless rubs and treats. Bria is already crate trained and is working on house and leash training. She had a few accidents her first two days here, but once she got on a consistent schedule, she hasn't had a single one since!

Bria's typical day:

  • 6:30 AM - Breakfast and potty break

  • 8:30 AM - Second potty break

  • 9 AM - 2 PM - Crated

  • 2 PM - 5 PM - 1-2 Potty/play/walk/crate breaks

  • 5 PM - Dinner and potty/play break

  • 5 PM - 9 PM - 1-3 potty/play/walk breaks/crate time

  • 9 PM - Last potty and then crated for bed

As a puppy, she is still learning how to walk well on a leash and building confidence. She'll walk inconsistently or in front or behind you sometimes. When scared, she'll army crawl back to the house. She would do great with more confidence building and positive reinforcement on walks.

She's still in her "tasting everything" stage, so she will need to be watched when free because my coffee table and piano now have teeth marks. She is easily redirected with kibble, treats, or toys.

I don't know how big she'll get, so be prepared in case she winds up being a large dog. She does drool a little and it may get worse as she gets older, typically when she's hungry or excited during walks. She rarely barks, but when she does, it's loud. She loves to give you the Pyr paw and Pyr lean. If you pet her long enough, she'll sit on you.

Bria is:

  • Crate trained

  • Knows sit and come

  • Working on down and wait

  • Snuggly

  • Food motivated

  • Good with other dogs

  • Working on house training

  • Working on leash walking

  • Building confidence in new places

While Bria is a great puppy, she will need a home that is experienced or understands that she does not like to share her toys, food or crate (her safe space) with other dogs. Resource guarding is something that needs to be managed if there are other dogs in the home. This means she needs to have a separate space for her crate, eating areas, and no toys around when playing with other dogs. She does not resource guard around my senior, much larger male Great Pyrenees, but she did do it with my submissive female dog.

Please research the breed before considering adopting her. She must be leashed only if you do not have a fenced in yard. They are known to be wanderers.
