Hi! Im Bizzle! My Foster mom says I’m a sweet and goofy lady looking for my new forever family!
I was picked up as a stray in the south as a puppy and grew up in the shelter, but I’m adapting super well to being in a home! I’m fully potty and crate trained, except I might whine a little when you first leave just so you know I miss you! Then I usually just sleep until my people get home!
I walk well on a leash. Sometimes I get excited when I see squirrels or other dogs, but my foster mom can teach you lots of tips to redirect me- I’m getting really good at listening when she calls my name! I LOVE going outside and going for walks, so I would love to have an owner who enjoys that too! Don’t get me wrong though, I love to snuggle up on the couch too and can definitely have a low key day if the weather is bad- I just want to be where my people are.
I am friendly with other dogs, but I will probably need slow intros to any dogs I’ll be sharing space with. I do best with calm and respectful dogs, but have met all sorts of dogs and done well. My foster mom says I’m not a meanie, but I can be a bit nervous in new situations since everything is so new to me! My foster sister and I are besties so I could definitely live with another dog if you’re willing to be a little patient with me. I would also love to be an only pup so I can give you all my love and attention!
I’m a major foodie, so I prefer to be fed my meals in a private dining area. I prefer to trade for a treat if I have to give up my high value chews like bully sticks, but otherwise I love sharing with my people. My foster sibling and I share a water bowl, treats and I’ve even learned how to share my squeaky toys!
Some other fun stuff my foster mom wants you to know:
1.) I am a professional at supervising the neighborhood from my throne on the couch
2.) Sometimes I get so excited when you get home or when we are about to go for walks I do the cutest little tippy taps
3.) Im such a smarty pants I already know “sit”, “lay down”, “kennel”, and am making great progress with my recall, door boundaries, “stay” and a release command!
Overall, I'm loyal, sweet, goofy and so affectionate! All I ask for is a little bit of patience as I learn a new routine and I’ll be your lifelong loyal companion!
