Basil is an absolute sweetheart, he loves to be pet and snuggle. A typical day with Basil includes running around with our dogs in the backyard, playing with toys. He enjoys chewing on bones inside and a rubber soccer ball outside. He will take as much affection as you can give him. He loves to curl up on the couch with you, and be pet, scratched, and pat. He is crate trained, potty trained, and listens well. He would be a lovable addition to a home either as a solo dog or with other dogs.
Basil loves to be pet, and is generally not afraid of people. When we've had people over, he may bark a little but as soon as they walk in and sit down he no longer barks and wants to be pet.
Basil has had no exposure to children.
Basil has low-medium energy. He loves to run outside in the backyard, and walks well on a leash. He is not stir-crazy in the house, and will lay next to you on the floor or couch and nap.
Basil gets along well with our two dogs. He is not food or toy aggressive, and has never snapped at our growled at our dogs.
Basil has had no exposure to cats.
Basil is crate trained, he goes in his crate no problem and does not bark while inside his crate. He has not been left out of his crate while we are gone.
Your heart will melt when you meet Basil and see his big puppy eyes and how friendly he is. His tail never stops wagging.
