Barney is a big teddy bear, a strong puppy, and very cute. He has very big and expressive brown eyes and is able to maintain eye contact for a long time. He is shy at times, but very friendly and loves to meet new people. He enjoys playing outside and cuddling. Barney may need more encouragement as he is still gaining confidence in a city atmosphere, but responds well to reassurance and encouragement. He is still getting used to the idea of walks, but enjoying them more every time.
Barney prefers to sleep in the play pen with his brother and can last up to 7-8 hours overnight with no issues or accidents. He is making progress with potty training during the day, very few pee accidents for his age and seems to understand pooping outside.
A typical day for Barney would be to wake up in his pen at 6am, go outside for potty, have breakfast, play with his brother until 8am and then nap most of the morning. He has lunch at noon and goes outside to play for about an hour before taking his afternoon nap. He has dinner at 6pm and then we take him on a short walk in our neighborhood. He likes to explore and loves to meet new people and dogs but is a little anxious when cars go by. He seems to be getting more comfortable with this little by little. He likes to play and run at dusk. Around 9pm he is asleep in his pen.
Due to Barney’s age, he has not yet been neutered. He will be adopted out with an addendum to the adoption agreement to be altered at an appropriate age.
