✅ Brought into a rural Texas shelter by her owner who was shoving and kicking them through the door. She was scared to death, shaking like crazy.
✅ She is the absolute sweetest girl and wants to be loved so bad. Very calm and gentle, good with dogs.
✅ Baby is the more assertive of the dogs in her foster home.
Baby is a very sweet and slightly uncoordinated puppy who is growing and learning every day!
She spent the first months of her life with her littermates, and currently lives with a foster sister. She and our resident dog have been having some issues with dominance, but Baby mostly seems to want to play with her sister. We think she could do very well in a home with the right dog.
Baby loves her toys and will chase and play with toys for hours.
Baby has fully adapted to living in a house. She is potty trained and goes in her crate easily. She is the gentlest girl. She takes treats gently and her tail is almost always wagging. She walks on a leash very well and loves playing in the backyard with our resident dog. She has mastered sit and is pretty close to knowing down. She's a very smart girl and really easy to train.
Baby has a lot of puppy energy and we are sure to walk her at least twice a day and let her out to play a few times. She hasn't gone hiking with me yet but I'm sure she would absolutely love to go on a long hike. She's the perfect puppy
Baby is an incredibly sweet girl who will make the right family very lucky.
UPDATE!
Baby continues to thrive in our home and has even gained two needed pounds. She is a really big fan of playing in the backyard, and will play with her ball for a long time, despite the cold. She recently met three children- ages 6, 10 and 11, and did well with all of them. She has also seen our cats through a baby gate and did not bark at them or try to chase them. She's mellowing into a great dog!
