Axel is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves being around people once he knows them. He has a playful spirit and enjoys playing fetch, chewing on bully sticks, and licking peanut butter Kongs. When he's not playing, Axel is a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up and relax with his favorite humans. His gentle nature and loving personality make him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal and loving friend. While he hasn't met any dogs, cats, or children, his previous handlers noted he was dog friendly.
A bit about his routine:
- Axel is crated while I'm at work and does completely fine. Once I get home, we go for a walk and play.
- When it's bed time, Axel sleeps in my bed and does great! He will get up for water and come right back to cuddle. He does not enjoy being crated at night, he'll will cry and has ripped a few holes in his bed.
- He LOVES eating his food from a puzzle feeder rather than a bowl.
On walks, Axel is a bit fearful of cars and loud noises, but will continue with walking after a few seconds (I think he just likes to watch). He has been a joy to foster and has lots of love to give!
