Attention all lovers of pug-mixes: This sweet boy is Arthur! He’s just a year old and a nice size at only 20 lbs. He’s a great mix of chill and spunky, a medium energy little guy. He loves to go for walks to get in all the sniffs as much as he loves to snuggle up with his humans. Arthur walks well on a leash, he loves chew toys, playing fetch, and belly rubs.
Arthur is shy in new surroundings initially, but he warms up quickly. He would do great with a canine sibling to play with, he is currently fostered with dogs his size and smaller. He loves to run around the yard and play chase with his foster siblings. He has not met cats that we are aware of.
Arthur is mostly potty trained and is working on crate training. He sleeps in his crate at night and is crated during the workday. He is learning “house” when it’s time to go in and gets a few Cheerios for a treat. Some days he settles in rather quickly, other times he is a bit more vocal before he relaxes, however he is a quick learner and very treat motivated. He picked up “sit” in the short time he’s been with us.
Arthur is just a happy, young dog who loves the simple things in life. He adapts to new routines after a little time and patience. He is such a kind, gentle soul. To know him is to love him.
