August 8, the day Arlo found his people!
Arlo starts every morning with a long walk or a run. He likes to play with our resident dog, play with toys, or be by our side while we work from home. He likes to roam our backyard, play fetch and go for more walks. At night, he loves to cuddle and sleeps like a rock.
He loves all humans and wants to give you as much affection as you can handle. Arlo is good with kids but is high energy so can sometimes get too excited. He likes to be near people and will snuggle whenever he gets the chance.
Arlo has a ton of energy and will need quite a bit of exercise. He likes to do it all: fetch, playing with other dogs, walking, running and even a little swimming. He walks well on a leash except when he sees a small animal or another dog and gets excited to play. Arlo can be leash reactive when he sees other dogs.
Arlo is great with dogs and wants to play with all of them. He's played with every dog he's met and hasn't had any issues. He's never met a cat so that one is unknown.
He whines a bit at first when left in his crate but then settles down and is fine. He has always stayed quiet and calm until we've let him out again.
This little guy was hit by a car before he came to Fetch and got a dislocated kneecap and a scar on his eye from the accident. Arlo had surgery on his knee and has recovered quite well. He still needs to gain a little more muscle on that leg, but it does not slow him down one bit.
Arlo is very sweet and has so much love to give. He will be your little shadow and will cuddle whenever you give him the chance. This little romeo is sure to steal your heart!
