My motto is play hard, nap hard! I like playing with toys, and in my quieter moments, I enjoy just quietly chewing on a stuffed animal or a stick. No matter which toy I choose, I want my new family to join me in the fun. I like to explore outdoors and to run, jump, and roll. I love to play chase with other dogs and with my people. After a play session, I want to cuddle up with my toys or snuggle with my family and take a long nap. Sometimes I'm more interested in playtime than in eating meals, so I thrive with a snuffle mat or another engaging activity as part of meal time.

Allison has only met children in public settings like a bark/brewery. She likes being near them, but is still learning not to taste all her new friends so she's still mouthy with children in the same way she is with adults. Allison rides in the car in her crate, and whines/talks loudly for several minutes until she feels calm. We play her calming music, pet her through the crate door, and shush her, and within 5-10 minutes she quiets down. As she's become more used to car rides, she calms more quickly in the car. Allison is too curious to ride in the car uncrated at this time. She has not met cats. She also is too young to take on runs on leash, but she does like to run around freely in the yard, so we expect that as she grows and learns leash manners, she may be a good running buddy. Allison is still working on being home alone and still demonstrates nervousness when she can't see her people - we recommend no shared walls at this time. She's also a very curious little puppy and will look for her own entertainment if it is not provided for her. Finally, Allison is still too young to be spayed since she's expected to be a larger breed when full grown.
