✅ Took a few days to settle in and adjust to living with a family.
✅ Has been kenneled for 3-4 hours at a time — she does well, but sometimes she has barked for a while in the crate.
✅ Used to sleeping in her foster’s bed.
✅ Walks on a leash/collar - “walks are overall pleasant, and she loves them, but she isn’t focused and tends to dart around, but isn’t bad at all”
✅ Likes to chase squirrels.
✅ Barks when foster’s dogs bark, and sometimes in the crate.
✅ Super enthusiastic about eating! Learning to “sit” and “stay” before meals.
✅ Winnie thinks she’s a lapdog — she loves to sit beside her fosters on the couch and snuggle.
✅ She jumps up and paws when she wants attention, and overall lacks manners — but she’s a smart girl who catches onto things quickly.
✅ She only recently learned how to play with toys, and will shred them and try to eat them — needs to be supervised with destructible toys.
✅ Will counter surf and tear things up if left uncrated when unsupervised.
✅ “Winnie is a pretty energetic dog. I think we haven’t really gotten her tired out on our walks. She may be a good running buddy as she can really run. She gets zoomies in our backyard and is so fast with her long legs. She would love to be with a family who can give her lots of attention, or a person who can provide walks/ runs and activity.”
✅ “Winnie’s overall behavior is good. She does calm down and lay down and chill when relaxing in the room with the family. She is such a good dog and we have loved her and loved having her in our home.”
