✅ Likely needs to lose some weight so his energy levels may change as he becomes more active.
✅ Waylon is quite the snuggler. He likes to be laying right up against someone. He’s a super sweet and friendly dog.
✅ Loves his naps and also play time. He’s good with other dogs and kids too. He has not been around cats.
✅ After heartworm treatment started he became very interested in food. He tries to counter-surf and will pull things off the counter that are close to the edge. In his foster home, if meals are served at a table, he is crated during meal time. He’s learning to take treats nicely and does much better if the treat is presented to him at eye/mouth level instead of above his head as he wants to jump to grab the treat.
✅ He doesn’t love being locked in the crate but settles down quickly. He will sleep in the crate, with the door wide open, during the day.
✅ He walks well on a leash and rides pretty well in the car with a bed to lay in.
✅ Overall, he’s a nice, friendly dog, with people and other dogs, and enjoys relaxing and snuggling in with his people.
✅ Waylon is totally house trained and does not mark.
