Letty is a very sweet, loyal dog who bonds closely with “her people.” We adopted her two years ago, and in that time it’s become clear that she’s happiest in a calm, predictable environment. She has some anxiety that is triggered by unfamiliar people coming into the house and by lots of noise and activity—things that are hard to avoid in our busy home with two very active school-aged kids. Because we care about her deeply, we’ve realized that our home is no longer the best fit for her long-term well-being.
In the right setting, Letty will be an amazing companion. She loves going for walks and exploring, but is just as content to stretch out and nap in a sunny spot for hours. She does well with other dogs off leash at the dog park, but we think she’ll be most comfortable living in a quieter home where she can fully relax. Ideally, she would go to a household without children or other pets, where her people can give her reassurance, structure, and plenty of love.
