Updates
Zyra wakes up around 7:30-8 am and lets us know we need to take her out to go potty and do her business. Afterwards, she comes back in and eats her breakfast and plays with her dog friends until she gets tired and is ready for a nap. Throughout the day, Zyra will play, explore around the backyard, chew on her toys and nap until her foster parent is done with work around 5:30 pm. She plays more in the evening and relaxes a bit before going on her last walk and then off to bed.
Zyra loves to play with other dogs! She has daily interaction with her littermate Dash and our resident dog.
When left alone, Zyra is crated. She does well with some whining in the beginning but then settles down. If she gets too bored in her crate, she will gnaw on her bed if that's the only thing in the crate. If her people are around, she definitely prefers to snuggle on their laps compared to sleeping in the crate.
Zyra is doing very well with her potty training, but still has a few accidents here and there.
Zyra has no exposure to children or cats yet.
