Meet Zoey! She's a sweet, playful pup looking for her forever home!

I wake Zoey up between 6:00 and 7:00 am every morning and she goes straight outside to potty. After she does her business, she eats her first meal of the day and settles in on my bed or the floor while I work. Zoey will sleep on and off throughout the workday. Zoey loves to chew so she does best when she's left with plenty of toys/bones to entertain herself with - her favorite is a bully stick! She has not been destructive and knows what she is and is not supposed to chew. After work, I'll take Zoey on a couple 30-minute walks in the afternoon and evening. She eats dinner around 6:00 pm and is crated for the night around 10:00 pm. She sleeps through the night in her crate and only let out a few whimpers the first few nights I had her.

Zoey LOVES attention and scratches. She will lay on her back and get a belly rub until the end of time if you'd let her. She is affectionate and loves to give kisses and be near her humans. She is still a puppy and has puppy energy. Zoey would transition well to an active family who is willing to give her the exercise she needs and loves so much.

She is a very friendly and outgoing dog. Zoey loves humans and will eagerly greet anyone and everyone. She does jump when she's excited so she would do best in a home without small children. She still has puppy mouthiness with hands/fingers when she's riled up but is easily redirected with a bone or toy.

Zoey is great at leash walking and loves to be outside. She doesn't pull unless she gets distracted by another dog or a squirrel/bunny. When she does start to pull, she's easily redirected. I think she could be a great running/hiking companion. Currently, her only exercise is her daily walks, so she may require less exercise if she has a yard to run around in.

She loves other dogs and will play for as long as they'll let her. I think she'd do great in a home with other dogs, but she is perfectly fine on her own as well.

Zoey currently lives with a cat who she is very interested in. Whenever the cat is out with her, she is very focused the kitty and has little interest in anything else. She is never aggressive toward the cat but her playfulness and curiosity can be overwhelming for kitty. I think Zoey would do best in a home without cats.

Zoey has had no issues being left alone. I let her free roam in the house for short outings and crate her if I'll be gone for more than 30ish minutes. When I crate her during the day, I'll usually throw in a Kong treat toy with peanut butter or a chewy treat and she settles in nicely.

Zoey is a very sweet girl who will be a great addition to a loving family. She's playful, affectionate and loves to give kisses! She'll be a wonderful companion to a very lucky human :)
