Meet Vito! This little 11 lb snuggle bug came up from Arkansas and is looking for his forever family. Vito is a low-energy guy that you wouldn't believe was just under two years old. He loves to snuggle on the couch and will follow you wherever you go. He loves you to scratch behind his ears and will climb up on your lap until you give him some attention. He has been good with kids (8 and 14) and just wants to hang out with his people.
Vito has not met another person or dog he didn't like, He loves to chill out under your desk or on the couch with you watching TV. Vito just became one of the gang with his two foster brothers and followed them around wherever they went. He currently lives with a cat who he just ignores and outdoor chickens he doesn't pay any mind to. He has met and gotten along with dogs big and small. He would do well with a doggie sibling to hang out during the day with.
Vito walks well on a lease and has done excellent on 1-2 mile walks, but is also happy to just explore the backyard and then come back in to nap on the couch. He does want to be with his person all the time and would do best with someone who is home more than not. He does bark to greet you when you get home and will bark when settling into his crate, so apartment life may not be a good fit.
Vito's typical day is getting up with his foster dog siblings (he would be happy to sleep later), taking a trip outside, eating breakfast, and a post-breakfast potty break. Some days he goes for a morning walk to drop his foster brother at school, otherwise, after breakfast he happily hangs out on his doggie bed while his foster mom works from home.
