Velma (Velly) is just the sweetest pup you will ever meet. She is so happy to meet everyone. She is calm and collected. She has been well socialized with people and other dogs. She is fine with our cats. She is very food motivated. She knows sit and has very good recall. She is accustomed to wearing a harness and walking on leash. She stays in her kennel overnight and is quiet. During the day she loves to be outside in the yard and wrestle with our other dog and run and play with our kids and the neighborhood kids. She is adventurous and loves getting dirty - rolling and digging. She is also an avid snuggler and her preference would be to be in your lap when watching TV and in bed snuggling at night. If you think spending all your free time feeding, walking, grooming, and snuggling a Polar bear sounds like a blast, then Velly Belly is the dog for you! (She is very likely going to grow up to be quite large).
Due to Velma’s age and likelihood to be a larger breed, she has not yet been spayed. She will be adopted out with an addendum to the adoption agreement to be altered at an appropriate age.
