Meet Tobias
Tobias is a gentle soul who’s just beginning to discover what it means to be a dog. Rescued from a hoarding situation, he’s making up for lost time with quiet curiosity, kindness, and a surprisingly quick mind. He’s a bit timid at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet nature really shines.
Personality: Soft-hearted, observant, and kind. Tobias isn’t the life of the party—he’s more of the thoughtful friend who sits close and watches the world with you. He learns quickly and seems eager to please, especially when encouragement is calm and consistent.
Training & Routine: Tobias walks nicely on a leash and enjoys peaceful strolls where he can take things in at his own pace. He’s still learning the ropes with housetraining and will need patience and positive reinforcement as he builds confidence and routine.
Social Skills: He does best in low-key environments and benefits from gentle guidance. Because of his past, Tobias has some anxiety when left alone for long periods, so he’ll thrive with someone who’s around most of the day or can gradually help him learn that alone time is safe.
Ideal Home: Tobias would be happiest in a calm, loving home with humans who understand that trust takes time—and that small wins are big wins. A predictable routine, a cozy place to rest, and lots of reassurance will help him continue to blossom. He likes other dogs and would benefit a lot by being a side-kick to a seasoned and confident pup housemate.
