Tater Tot is the cutest, most affectionate little guy you’ll ever meet! This sweet pup absolutely loves snuggles and thrives on being close to his people—he’s happiest curled up beside you or following you from room to room.
Tater has a calm, low-energy personality and truly enjoys the simple things in life: cozy naps, quiet companionship, and lots of love. He’d be a perfect match for someone looking for a relaxed, devoted companion.
Tater is mostly indifferent to other dogs in his home, but he can be a bit protective of his food. He would prefer to be the only dog, but he does fine with a low-energy dog. He tends to bark at dogs when passing them on leash, though he responds well to redirection. With his tendency to get a little underfoot on walks, he’ll need an owner who’s steady on their feet.
Tater Tot would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he can feel a bit anxious when left alone and may whine, bark, or pace. He’s currently able to free roam but may mark in new environments as he adjusts. With patience, consistency, and a reassuring routine, he’ll continue to build confidence.
