Tank was adopted February 2025, congratulations to Tank and his new family!

Meet Tank! A fluffy bundle of endless energy. His soft and soulful blue eyes are sure to melt anyone’s heart.

From minute 1 in Foster Care, Tank showed his moxie by wrestling for hours with his much larger foster brother, Jackson. He is funny and entertaining to watch. When he’s not playing, he is exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings, both inside and outside. Tank is very curious (nosey), yet not destructive in his exploring. He loves to be outside, even in our sub-zero Wisconsin weather!

After a few hours of lively play, Tank faithfully plops down at your feet for a much deserved nap. This bundle of warmth is very affectionate and will gently lick all over your face before nuzzling to sleep around your neck. He’ll never be mistaken for a lap dog though. He has “places to go, things to see”.

Tank is a quick learner and knows basic commands like “come” and “sit”. He quickly adapted to sleeping through the night in his crate, waking only once or twice to potty. He is pretty good at using his puppy pad in our sub-zero weather, and training him to go outside when it is warmer should not be a problem. He LOVES to be outside.

Tank’s mother is Tessa, and he had three litter mates. He moved to Appleton from Texas in mid-January 2025. Tank is placed in a single adult foster home. He can be a little nippy in his play, and his teeth are sharp. Typical puppy teething behavior.

Tank’s daily routine is go-go-go with tail wagging high. Don’t be surprised if you have a shadow throughout your daily routine. He is a very happy, well-adjusted puppy.

Update:

Tank continues to thrive in foster care and would be a great fit for a home with an active lifestyle.

  • Tank’s favorite toy is anything bigger than him that he can carry (or drag) - a “big dog attitude” in a small body. He is learning the “leave it” command.

  • Tank is doing very well with crate and house training. He settles into his crate with little fuss. He sleeps in his crate overnight, waking only when he needs to go potty (every 3-4 hours, typical for a puppy). During the day he goes to the door to be let out to relieve himself at his “special spot”.

  • He LOVES to be outside, playing in a big fenced yard on his own or with his foster brother.

Born on November 24th in Texas, these adorable puppies are as sweet and cuddly as they come! After a unique start in life, born in the care of the WCSO inmates they’ve been thriving in foster care and are now getting ready to find their forever families.

With their soft, fluffy coats and wagging tails, these little ones are the perfect blend of playfulness and snuggles. While we can’t say for sure what breeds they are, we’re certain they’ll grow up to be beautiful companions who love adventure as much as they love napping by your side.

These pups are eager to start learning about the world—whether it’s chasing toys, exploring the yard, or practicing commands to impress their humans. They’ve been socialized in foster care and are ready to bond with loving, patient adopters who will guide them as they grow.

At Fetch, we’re proud of the loving, healthy puppies born and raised in our care. We have raised more than 200 newborn puppies and counting, in addition to countless litters transferred to us when they were just days old. Each puppy receives round-the-clock attention, expert care, and a whole lot of love from the very start. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to make sure they get everything they need, from socialization and basic training to regular veterinary visits. By the time our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes, they are well-prepared to join families and bring joy to their adopters’ lives.

Adopting a puppy from Fetch means you don’t have to go to a breeder to find a healthy, happy companion. Our puppies are raised to be adaptable, comfortable around people and other animals, and ready to embrace new experiences. We take time to observe each puppy’s unique personality, so when it’s time for them to join a new family, we make sure it’s the right fit. This individualized approach helps our puppies thrive in their new homes and brings joy to everyone involved. We have a select few foster homes that specialize in raising litters, and have each raised dozens of litters for our rescue. Having an experienced eye care for these puppies as they grow up is critical to their long-term success.

When you choose to adopt a puppy through Fetch, you’re not only welcoming a wonderful puppy into your family, but you’re also helping to save more lives. Each adoption frees up space and resources for other dogs who need our care, allowing us to help more animals find loving homes.
