Talia is a sweet, 2.5-year-old terrier-Weimaraner-Lab mix originally from the Texas streets who was thrilled to find out life could be so great in Wisconsin. By exploring the state’s forests, fields, and lakes, she has found her own personal heaven. She’s currently living in a subdivision, but what she really wants is more room and more freedom. At heart she’s a country gal seeking a country home.
Talia’s favorite activity is hunting. If you need vermin controlled to keep your vegetable garden, flower beds, or property free of critters, she would love to be considered for the job. She is always watching for those little white bunny tails to shoot out from the shrubbery. After a full day patrolling the woods or fields, Talia loves settling down for the night by cuddling in bed and hogging the blankets. At 8:30 p.m., it’s lights out for her, and time to rest up to do it all over again the next day.
Talia’s brown eyes and scruffy tuxedo will melt your heart. Initially a timid girl, Talia’s confidence has really grown. She’s happy to go anywhere and do anything. She absolutely loves dog parks, hiking, camping, and hanging out on the fishing dock, waiting for those floppy fish to be netted. She’s not aggressive with other dogs and loves to play chase at the dog park. She rarely barks, even when other dogs walk by out on the street. She is good with kids. She takes treats very gently. She is more motivated by toys than food.
Talia weighs 44 pounds and is spayed, housetrained, kennel-trained, and microchipped. With her drive to pursue running, furry critters, she is not recommended for a home with cats. She has completed basic obedience and quickly learns commands.
