Looking for a fun, cuddly dog? Stormie is a spunky little gal who perfectly balances fun with relaxation. This girl loves to run and play and eat popcorn, but is also obsessed with a good cuddle.
She enjoys having dog friends and can thrive both as an only dog or with another dog who jives with her. When she’s done playing with my dog, she takes naps all on her own, and is surprisingly forgiving of my other grumpy dog. She’s gone to daycare too and loves to play there. If you’re looking for a fun, food-motivated, toy-motivated dog, but don’t want a dog who is overbearing and high maintenance, Stormie may just be perfect for you.
Stormie is learning through good experience and patience that new humans are nice. She wants someone who is ready to advocate for her and show her she’s safe. After gentle introductions, she really loves her humans. She is a dedicated lap dog and is so sweet and loving. If you sit down, she will fly over to lay on top of you while you watch TV on the couch. She loves to cuddle, lean her whole body into her favorite people, and just be part of the family. If there are no laps available, she’s content to nap on her dog bed while humans work.
She sleeps well in her crate at night, walks well on leash, and has shown no resource guarding with people or dogs. I let her free roam my house and she does great. She prefers quiet neighborhoods. Sometimes strange sounds are spooky to her, but she learned in two days that things are fine if I say “thank you”. She’s smart and attentive and fun to train.
She can’t wait to be someone’s perfect companion.
