✔️ Walks well on leash! ✔️ Could do well in an apartment! ✔️ Good for beginner dog owner!
Snoop is an incredibly friendly, smart, and adventurous 3-year-old who strives (and succeeds!) to be the best boy! In the past week that he has been in WI, I have observed:
Energy level:
-Medium-energy and enjoys walks & naps/snuggling.
-Currently receives 1-1.5 hours of exercise throughout the day.
-Interested in toys, fetch, tug, and chews; able to occupy himself inside (but usually just naps).
Animals:
-Friendly with dogs and pulls to say hi on walks. Enjoys playing and reads dogs’ cues well.
-Would do well alone or with canine siblings.
-High prey drive & pulls hard when he sees critters on walks. Cats are unknown.
-Would probably enjoy dog parks & doggy daycare.
-Displays resource guarding tendencies.
People:
-Friendly with everyone and loves getting pets & giving kisses.
-Good with children & not bothered by commotion. Due to possible resource-guarding tendencies, I recommend he lives with kids over age 5.
Training:
-Whines/digs for ~15 minutes in crate when I leave but then settles in for day.
-Sleeps quietly in his crate all night but prefers my bed.
-Able to free roam (a little nervous when I leave).
-Potty-trained; stares at me when he needs to go out.
-Extremely quick learner who loves to train; knows sit, down, shake, wait, & leave it so far.
-Does not bark very often & does fine in my apartment.
-Tolerates daily elbow wax application (for hair loss) & teeth brushing.
Snoop is the biggest love and is the perfect mix of active & snuggly and loyal but not too clingy. He is an amazing houseguest who would thrive in most living situations. Snoop can’t wait to join you on all of your adventures!
