Meet Smalls (aka Doogie Bowser 😊) 💕 Smalls is a mix-breed, playful 4-month-old puppy looking for his forever home. This loving little guy acts more mature than his age due to his good behaviors (crate trained, potty trained, doesn’t chew furniture, playful with other dogs), He has tons of personality and spunk. Snowy and cold Wisconsin doesn’t slow this Texas pup down at all as he runs around the yard with enthusiasm.
Smalls sleeps in his crate at night and is happy to get up when you are ready. He eagerly heads outside for potty and then runs back inside for his breakfast. He loves his food! Then some playtime with his toys and/or resident dog. He goes for a 30-45 minute walk late morning before he settles back home for a quick nap. We spend about 15 minutes in training on new commands, then a scavenger hunt for his mid-day snack before an early dinner around 4:30 pm.
His favorite things are sniffing out treats during during ‘scavenger hunt”, playing outside with the resident dog, going for walks, playing with squeaky toys and chewing on bully sticks. He has lots of love and licks to give.
Smalls does well with other dogs but has not been introduced to cats or kids. When passing other dogs during walks, he barks at them but will correct on command. Likewise, he will bark at visitors to the home but quickly greets them once inside. He will do best in a home that can continue his training (he has nailed ‘sit’, ‘wait’, ‘off’, ‘leave it’ and knows his name and will 'come').
