Sissy is the sweetest little lady! She was surrendered by her owner while emaciated and pregnant but is living the good life now. A pint-sized lovebug, since going through heartworm treatment she has perfected crate training and hightails it there whenever a treat is in sight.
In foster care she has a dog brother and cat sister. Though the HW treatment restricted her activity, she enjoys playing with her brother and checks in with (mostly ignoring) our cat. Crinkly toys are her favorite but she has the most fun acting like an alligator walking around with her mouth open and nibbling at the back of our dog's legs trying to provoke him into play. She is a medium energy dog, content to lay out in the sun or sprint around with the zoomies playing with anybody willing.
Sissy is very food driven and we are still teaching her to take treats gently (she's just so excited!). She is typically in her crate overnight but sometimes we leave her out and she falls asleep on the couch with no issues. She has never had an accident in the house and will always tell you when she needs to go.
