This oh so handsome and snuggly puppy has grown so much in a short amount of time. He hails from warmer areas, was not fond of our weather and also experiencing life without his sibling for the first time when we picked him up. He was initially nervous about taking on all these new experiences solo. With some patience and the help of our resident dog he now takes on every day with a zest for life only found in happy puppies!
What to know about Shoby:
He is doing well with potty training and only has accidents when we can't get to the door fast enough.
Sleeps through the night crated from 10pm to 6am
Does not like to be crated and alone. We are seeing improvement and he will need consistency to nail this.
Eats 3x a day using a slow feeder. Also gets training treats when working on manners.
Loves daily walks around the neighborhood.
Loves playing with other dogs
Will entertain himself with the dog toys when needed.
Minds the cues my bossy resident dog gives him.
Quick learner. Knows "go in your house" and Sit. Working on "wait", "leave-it" and everything else.
Absolute champion snuggler!
Shoby is now loving the good life and a happy dog that has yet to meet a person or dog he doesn't like. Overall he is a confident, happy and trainable pup. As with all puppies all his manners are currently a work in progress and he will need continued consistency and training to grow into a well adjusted dog.
