Meet Sarah, a 10-year-old Great Pyrenees who has spent her working life guarding the exotic animals bred and raised by her owner, who was a vet. Sadly Sarah's owner died suddenly last month and Sarah lost everything; her Mom, her lifetime home and the companionship of another young Pyrenees whom she was training to take over her job. Sarah needs a loving family who will patiently help her make the transition from hardworking guardian to happily retired companion. Could you be the family who gives Sarah a home where she can live out her golden years and mend her broken heart?
✅ Sarah is a great LGD, very loyal and gentle and loves attention.
✅ Has been raised from 6 weeks old around people, other dogs, peacocks, kangaroos, zebra and camels.
✅ She is an old girl now who likes to spend her days laying around and watching the world go by.
✅ Needs to be kept separate from other dogs when eating her dinner or getting treats but gets along fine with them otherwise.
✅ Leash trained and has been to the groomer.
✅ Was not formally housetrained but when she has spent time in the clinic she always asks to go out when she needs to potty.
✅ Scared of thunderstorms and fireworks.
✅ Has some arthritis so she is on monthly injections of Librela.
✅ Current on vaccinations and preventatives.
